What to Expect
Trip itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Welcometo Kenya! Upon arrival in Nairobi, meet your JetLost guide and the rest of the group. Settle into your hotel, relax after the flight, and enjoy a welcome dinner together as we kick off our unforgettable African adventure.

Day 2 – Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island
Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, where hippos and exotic birds await. Take a boat ride across the lake and walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes on Crescent Island — one of Kenya’s most unique wildlife experiences.

Day 3 – Lake Nakuru National Park
Head to the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its pink flamingos and rhinos. Enjoy your first game drive and witness the park’s rich biodiversity, from buffaloes and lions to baboons and pelicans. Dinner and overnight stay inside the park.

Day 4 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Drive to the legendary Masai Mara, one of Africa’s top safari destinations. Settle into your lodge and get ready for an afternoon game drive where you might spot elephants, cheetahs, and even the Big Five. End the day with a golden African sunset.

Day 5 – Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
A full day dedicated to exploring the Mara’s vast savannas. Track lions on the hunt, watch wild beasts graze in herds, and capture breathtaking photos of this iconic landscape. Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the tribe’s rich culture and customs.

Day 6 – Final Game Drive & Journey to the Coast
Enjoy a final early morning safari before departing the Masai Mara. Travel back to Nairobi and catch your train to the coastal paradise of Diani. Relax at your beachside hotel and unwind after days of adventure.

Day 7 – Safari Blue Experience
Sailon traditional dhow boats in the crystal-clear waters of Diani. Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, enjoy a seafood lunch on a secluded sandbank, and watch dolphins play in the turquoise waves — the perfect tropical escape.

Day 8 – Beach & Relaxation Day
Spend a laid-back day enjoying the white-sand beaches and palm-fringed shores. Optional activities include kitesurfing, camel rides, or a beachside massage. In the evening, gather for a sunset dinner by the ocean.

Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the train station for your scenic journey back to Nairobi. Say asante sana (thank you) to Kenya, carrying home wild memories, new friendships, and a heart full of adventure.

Packsmart — Kenya’s weather will vary throughout the trip: expect warm, sunny dayson safari (25–30 °C), cooler mornings and evenings in the parks (as low as 12°C), and hot coastal weather in Diani (up to 32 °C). The key is lightweight, breathable, and layered clothing suitable for both wildlife drives and beach days.
